Jobs are hard to come by these days - which is why i was surprised to find that there was an upsurge in the amount of webcam jobs available, webcam work is still quite a new phenomenon, as webcams have only been around as long as the internet, and it is only the fairly recent much faster broadband speeds that have enabled webcams to be used and accessed as well as recent advances in technology that have allowed much faster streaming of the webcam video chat type sites. But yes, webcam modeling has become quite a big industry, with many webcam models earning quite high salaries, although the average amount a webcam model can earn is probably in $300 - $500 range per week, although quite a few webcam girls earn in the $1,000 - $2,000 range without too much diffuculty, it depends on a lot of things - how many hours the model works (this is quite important as well as being reliable) how "attractive" the model is (although everyone has their own idea of what "attractive" is and it really depends what site she is working on) how busy the site is that he/she is working on, the pay rate that she is charging, or the website is charging, as well as a number of other things, i.e. his/her experience at web cam modeling, experience will make a lot of difference to the amount of money they will earn, the same as in any other profession/job, so the amount of money someone can earn in a webcam job can vary quite a bit and they are not going to make $1,000,000 in the first week, although over time it can become a worthwhile career especially if they learn the tricks of the trade and are able to learn and put the hours in (the same applies in any other job).
